2015年10月22日至25日，第十六届国际制造会议（IMCC2015）在杭州举行，机制工艺系机械设计制造教研室主任张政梅博士应邀参会。
国际制造会议(IMCC)是由国内相关大学和香港理工大学共同发起的学术会议，每两年举行一届。从1983年至今，IMCC已经成功举办了十五届，IMCC的主题已经从金属切削和磨削扩大到先进制造技术中的各个研究领域。
会议期间，来自中国大陆、香港、台湾以及韩国、德国、日本、美国、英国、以色列和新加坡等国家地区的学者和专家围绕先进制造工艺和装备、材料成型技术、数字制造系统和管理、现代设计理论和方法、超精密制造以及机械制造业生产工程相关领域等方面进行了交流研讨。日本的K. Ueda教授作了《World Trends of Manufacturing Innovation and Science & Technology toward Value Creation》、德国的E. Brinksmeier教授作了《High Performance Cutting for Ultra-Precision Machining》、英国的A. Weckenmann教授作了《Function Oriented Approach for Specification and Verification of Geometrical Quantities for Micro- and Nano-Manufacturing》、美国的S. Smith教授作了《New technologies for the production of complex aerospace parts》、匈牙利的L. Monostori教授作了《Cyber-physical production systems: Interplay and convergence of two worlds》、荷兰的A.M. van Houten教授作了《The integration of design and manufacturing and how it is going to influence the way we work》、美国的N. Duffie教授作了《Opportunities and Obstacles for Applying Control Theory in Modeling, Analysis and Design of Production Systems and Networks》、以色列的R. Wertheim教授作了《Flushing Strategies as a Function of the Cutting Process and Workpiece Materials》、德国的G. Byrne教授作了《New Developments in International Translational Research - The Fraunhofer International Model》的大会主题报告。在分组报告会上，张政梅博士作了题为《Study on the Grindability Ranking of Granite Using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process and TOPSIS Approaches》的学术报告。
本次会议由中国机械工程学会生产工程分会、浙江工业大学（轮值）和北京杜米文化艺术发展有限公司共同承办。
